Job summary

Premise Health in Frisco, TX is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse to provide care to employees and dependents at our on-site Health Center. The schedule is Monday–Friday 6:30am–6:00pm with Saturday 7:30am–12:00pm, offering a stable, patient-focused role in a collaborative environment.

You will assess care needs, perform tests and treatments, administer medications, maintain records, educate patients on health promotion, and work with physicians for further evaluation.

Qualifications

• Certificate from an accredited nursing school or an associate degree (A.S.).
• Current Texas RN license is required; Bachelor’s degree (BSN) preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS may be required per contract.
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing or Emergency Nursing preferred.
• At least three years of RN experience in ER or occupational/ambulatory care.

As a Full Time Registered Nurse (RN), you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Frisco, TX. The scheduled hours are Monday-Friday 6:30am-6:00pm and Saturdays 7:30am-12:00pm.

What You’ll Do

• Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
• At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care clinic
