Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse for our Health Center in Indianapolis, IN. You will provide care to client employees and dependents, perform nursing evaluations, and collaborate with physicians for additional care.

The role requires an active RN license in Indiana, BLS/ACLS as needed, and 3+ years of ER/occupational health experience. We offer comprehensive benefits and a strong commitment to wellness.

Qualifications

• RN license in state of practice required.
• BLS training (AHA/ARC or equivalent) required; ACLS may be required by contract.
• 3+ years RN experience in ER, occupational health, or ambulatory care.
• BSN preferred; ASN/ADN acceptable with experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient care needs and conduct nursing evaluations.
• Collaborate with physicians for further medical evaluation.
• Perform and document tests and treatments (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision).
• Administer medications and emergency care within scope.
• Maintain equipment and infection control procedures.
• Maintain accurate health records and follow-ups.
• Educate patients on health promotion and follow-up care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

As a Full Time Registered Nurse, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located inIndianapolis, IN.

What You’ll Do

• Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
• At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care clinic
