Job summary

Premise Health in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse to provide care to client employees and dependents at our health center.

This role offers a 3-day work week (30 hours) with no weekends, a collaborative clinical team, high-touch nursing, and opportunities in ER/urgent care/primary care settings; requires active RN licenses in KS and MO; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or AS is required; BSN preferred.
• Currently licensed RN in state of practice.
• BLS/ACLS certification required; ACLS may be required by contract.
• At least 3 years of RN experience in an emergency room, primary care or ambulatory care clinic.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice.
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed.
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision).
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice.
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures.
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow‑up care.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four‑year college or university is preferred
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands‑on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, primary care or other ambulatory care clinic
