Job summary

Premise Health Inc. is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to provide care to client employees and dependents at our Frisco, TX Health Center. The role runs Monday to Friday from 6:30am to 6:00pm with Saturday shifts from 7:30am to 12:00pm.

Responsibilities include nursing assessments, coordinating with physicians, performing tests and treatments, administering medications, maintaining records, and promoting patient health. The ideal candidate has RN licensure in Texas and relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice required.
• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS may be required per site.
• Minimum 3 years RN experience in ER or occupational health.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient care needs and conduct nursing evaluations.
• Collaborate with physicians for further medical evaluation.
• Perform and document medical tests and screenings per site contract.
• Administer medications and provide emergency care within scope.
• Maintain equipment, environment, and infection control.
• Maintain accurate patient health records.
• Educate patients on health promotion and follow-up care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

As a Full Time Registered Nurse (RN), you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Frisco, TX. The scheduled hours are Monday-Friday 6:30am-6:00pm and Saturdays 7:30am-12:00pm.

What You’ll Do

• Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
• At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care clinic
