Job summary

Premise Health Inc. seeks a Full Time Registered Nurse (RN) to provide care to client employees and dependents at our Health Center in San Antonio, TX. Schedule: Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm.

You will perform nursing evaluations, collaborate with physicians, conduct tests, administer medications, maintain records, and promote health with compassionate, compliant care. Premise offers competitive pay and full benefits for team members.

Qualifications

• Nursing certificate or AS required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in state of practice is required.
• BLS/ACLS certification required; ACLS may be required per contract scope.
• COHN/COHN-S or Emergency Nursing/Case Management certification preferred.
• At least 3 years' RN experience in ER/occupational health or ambulatory care.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient care needs and perform nursing evaluations.
• Collaborate with physicians for further medical evaluation and care as needed.
• Perform tests and treatments (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision) as defined by site contract.
• Administer medications and provide emergency care within scope of practice.
• Maintain equipment, ensure infection control, and keep patient records up to date.
• Educate patients on health promotion and follow-up care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

As a Full Time Registered Nurse (RN), you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in San Antonio, TX. The scheduled hours are Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.

What You’ll Do

• Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow‑up care
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands‑on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN‑S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
• At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care clinic
