Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse to provide care to client employees and dependents in our Health Center in Columbus, IN, within clinic hours Monday–Friday 7:00am–7:00pm and rotating Saturdays 8:00am–12:00pm (approximately every 6 weeks).

You will conduct nursing evaluations, administer medications, document care, and educate patients on health promotion while collaborating with physicians and other healthcare practitioners to ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or AS required; BSN preferred.
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS may be required per contract.
• COHN/COHN-S, Emergency Nursing, or Case Management certification preferred.
• At least three years of RN experience in ER or occupational health/ambulatory care.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient care needs and perform nursing evaluations.
• Collaborate with physicians for further medical evaluation and care.
• Perform and document medical tests and treatments per site contract.
• Administer medications and provide emergency care within scope.
• Maintain equipment, environment, and infection control procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient health records and documentation.
• Educate patients on health promotion and follow-up care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

As a Full Time Registered Nurse, you’ll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Columbus, IN. The scheduled hours will fall within clinic operating hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 7:00pm, and rotating Saturdays 8:00a - 12p (approximately every 6 weeks).

What You’ll Do

• Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
• At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care clinic
