The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care, coordinates care planning with other disciplines, and ensures optimal patient outcomes. We proudly uphold Equal Opportunity Employment practices and welcome applicants of all backgrounds without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or veteran status.## Qualifications**EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS*** **Required:** Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Illinois, Current BLS Certification.* **Other:** ACLS certification within 3 months of hire; PALS certification within 6 months of hire; TNCC or TNS certification within one year of hire; Minimum of 8 hours of pediatric education every 2 years.**EXPERIENCE*** **Required:** Minimum of three (3) years RN experience.* **Preferred:** Minimum of 18 months of acute/critical care or Emergency Department experience.**SKILLS*** Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations* Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, triage, IV therapy, and emergency procedures* Strong documentation, communication, and patient/family education skills* Ability to collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams* Commitment to patient safety, infection control, and departmental standards
