This role plays a vital part in delivering safe, high‐quality, patient‐centered care across the lifespan. Med/Surg nurses at FMH provide direct patient care, support patient and family education, and collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, effective care. The RN is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process. This includes patient assessment, teaching, and coordination of care with ancillary personnel, while maintaining the highest standards of practice.
