Job summary

Rising Ground, headquartered in New York City, is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for multiple programs in The Bronx. This full-time role provides on-site health services to youth in foster care, residential, and ACS programs, with immediate start and competitive salary.

You will supervise day-to-day health services activities, conduct exams, perform screenings, administer medications, and train staff.

Qualifications

  • Current and unrestricted RN license in New York State.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • BSN from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations is preferred; candidates with strong nursing experience in other clinical settings are encouraged to apply.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide comprehensive nursing care, assess patient needs, and implement appropriate interventions.
  • Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team while maintaining high standards of patient care and documentation.
  • Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in a diverse healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

  • On call for triage, sick, urgent and quick coverage, questions and consult calls for assigned programs.
  • Administer Medication.
  • Train staff.
  • Other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Role Overview

The Registered Nurse are responsible for supervising day-to-day health services activities. Health Services provide services and support for foster care, residential and ACS involved youth.

Key Responsibilities

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Full time position-hours are based upon the needs of the Program and will be discussed prior to employment. Work is conducted in clinical settings within program facilities.
