Job summary

Regency Monroe is seeking an RN for part-time or PRN roles to provide high-quality resident care in a long-term care setting. Duties include medication assistance, nursing services, supervising staff, and promoting a home-like environment while adhering to state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Train staff and assist the director of nursing.
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, and a home-like environment for residents.
• Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living, ADLs, medications, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence as allowed by state regulations.
• Ensure care aligns with resident treatment and service plans.
• Know and follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Review, update, and communicate resident care documentation.
• Evaluate health emergencies to determine medical measures per RN scope and state regulations.

As an RN, you are essential to quality resident care. Duties include medication assistance/administration, nursing services, training / supervising staff, and all things related to resident well-being.

As an RN, you will:

• Train staff and assist the director of nursing
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents
• Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living, ADLs, environmental orientation, assistance or administration with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence, as permitted by state regulations
• Ensure care as indicated on resident treatment and service plans
• Know and follow infection control and safety procedures
• Review, update and communicate resident care documentation.
• Evaluate health emergencies to determine medical measures per RN scope of practice and state regulations
