Job summary

Regency Monroe is seeking a licensed practical nurse to support resident care with duties including medication administration, nursing services, and staff training. You will work under the director of nursing to maintain a compassionate, home-like environment.

• Train staff and assist the director of nursing.

• Know and follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Review, update and communicate resident care documentation.
• Evaluate health emergencies to determine necessary medical measures per LPN scope.

As an LPN, you are essential to quality resident care. Duties include medication assistance/administration, nursing services, training / supervising staff, and all things related to resident well-being.

You will:

• Train staff and assist the director of nursing
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents
• Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living, ADLs, environmental orientation, assistance or administration with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence, as permitted by state regulations
• Ensure care as indicated on resident treatment and service plans
• Know and follow infection control and safety procedures
• Review, update and communicate resident care documentation
• Evaluate health emergencies to determine medical measures per LPN scope of practice and state regulations
