Job summary

Regency Monroe is seeking a dedicated LPN to join our team, providing medication assistance, nursing services, and resident care to support a quality, home-like environment. Weekend rotation is included and leadership duties include training staff and assisting the director of nursing.

You will ensure care aligns with resident plans, follow infection control procedures, and document care activities while encouraging independence and dignity for residents in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Possess a current LPN license in good standing.

• Train staff and assist the director of nursing.
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents.
• Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living, ADLs, environmental orientation, assistance or administration with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence, as permitted by state regulations.
• Ensure care as indicated on resident treatment and service plans.
• Know and follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Review, update and communicate resident care documentation.
• Evaluate health emergencies to determine medical measures per LPN scope of practice and state regulations.
