Job summary

Birmingham Green is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a part-time night shift (11 PM - 7:00 AM), every other weekend. The role supports our nursing home and assisted living residents with a focus on safety and quality care.

Responsibilities include medication administration, admissions, charting in PCC, and supervising a CNA/Med Aide. The candidate must be licensed, CPR/First Aid certified, and able to lift without restrictions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Current RN license is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification must be current.
• Able to work weekends.

• Order and dispense medications according to physician’s orders.
• Carry out admissions and re-admissions.
• Document activities through PCC and other sheets.
• Direct and supervise the care given by a CNA/Med Aide.
• Must be able to lift without restrictions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities/Accountabilities

We have an amazing opportunity for RNs that can:

• Order and dispense medications according to physician’s orders
• Carry out admissions and re-admissions
• Document activities through Point Click Care (PCC), ADL Flow sheet, Restorative Sheets, various treatment sheets, charge sheets, etc., as established by the facility
• Direct and supervise the care given by a CNA/Med Aide
• Must be able to lift without restrictions
• Will also perform other duties as assigned

Experience/Skills/Education

Required:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Current license to work as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Current Adult CPR and First Aid certification
• Able to work weekends

Preferred:

• One year experience
• Exposure to the senior population
• Familiarity with Point Click Care (PCC)
• Desire to serve and care for the senior population
