Job summary

Birmingham Green in Manassas, VA, is seeking a Part-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our caring team. The role includes medication administration, patient admissions, and supervising CNAs/Med Aides, with documentation in PCC and on multiple care sheets.

Qualifications

• GED or higher required.
• Current LPN license.

Responsibilities

• Order and dispense medications according to physician’s orders.

• Direct and supervise care by CNAs/Med Aides.
• Must be able to lift without restrictions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Responsibilities/Accountabilities

We have an amazing opportunity for LPNs that can:

• Order and dispense medications according to physician’s orders
• Carry out admissions and re-admissions
• Document activities through Point Click Care (PCC), ADL Flow sheet, Restorative Sheets,
  various treatment sheets, charge sheets, etc. as established by the facility
• Direct and supervise the care given by a CNA/Med Aides
• Must be able to lift without restrictions
• Will also perform other duties as assigned

Experience/Skills/Education

Required:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Current license to work as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• CPR certification
• Able to work weekends

Preferred:

• One year experience
• Exposure to the senior population
• Familiarity with Point Click Care (PCC)
• Desire to serve and care for the senior population
