Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a Full-time Registered Nurse to join our Health and Wellness Center in Lafayette, IN, in partnership with Subaru of Indiana Automotive (SIA). You will assess patients, perform nursing evaluations, and collaborate with physicians to deliver high-quality care for employees and dependents.

You’ll document tests and treatments, administer medications, and maintain equipment with strong infection control.

Qualifications

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or ASN/BSN; RN license required.
• Current BLS/ACLS certification as defined by contract scope.
• Three years RN experience in ER, occupational health, or ambulatory care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient care needs and perform nursing evaluations within scope of practice.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation.
• Perform and document medical tests and treatments (EKG, audiometry, vision) as defined by site contract.
• Administer medications and provide emergency care within legal scope of practice.
• Maintain equipment, infection control, and patient records; educate on health promotion.

What You’ll Do

• Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care clinic
