Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to client employees at our Health Center in Florence, KY. The clinic operates Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with no nights or weekends, delivering personalized, employee-focused care.

You will assess patients, perform nursing evaluations, administer medications, and document health records while collaborating with physicians and other health professionals.

Qualifications

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or AS is required.
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may be required based on contract scope.
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S) preferred and may be required for some sites.
• At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care setting.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice.
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed.
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision).
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice.
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures.
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

As a PRN Registered Nurse, you’ll provide high-quality care to client employees in our Health Center located in the heart of Florence, KY, conveniently situated in Northern Kentucky just south of Cincinnati.

The clinic is openMonday–Friday, from 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with no nights or weekends, while providing personalized, employee-focused care in a professional Health Center environment.

What You’ll Do

• Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed

What You’ll Bring

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
• At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care clinic
