Premise Health Inc. in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse to provide clinical care at our Health Center.

The role involves 4 hours per week with hours Monday through Friday, 7:00a–5:00p, serving client employees on-site. Responsibilities include nursing evaluations, care coordination with physicians, tests and treatments (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision), medication administration, and maintaining infection control and records.

Qualifications

• Must hold a nursing license valid in Georgia.
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse.
• Basic Life Support certification required; ACLS may be required depending on contract.
• BSN preferred for site responsibilities.
• At least three years of nursing experience in ER/occupational health or ambulatory care.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient care needs, conduct nursing evaluations, and provide treatment within scope of practice.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for additional evaluation and care as needed.
• Perform and document medical tests, screenings, and treatments (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision).
• Administer medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice.
• Maintain medical equipment, ensure a safe environment, and follow infection control procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient health records and update them regularly.
• Educate patients on health promotion and participate in follow-up care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

As a Part Time Registered Nurse, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Atlanta, GA. The scheduled hours are 4 hours per week. The Health Center hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00a - 5:00p.

What You’ll Do

• Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor\'s degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
• At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care clinic
