Job summary

Premise Health invites an experienced RN to join our Health Center in Chandler, AZ, full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm. You’ll assess patients, collaborate with clinicians, conduct tests, administer meds, and maintain records.

We seek an RN with state licensure, BLS, and 3+ years in ER/occupational or ambulatory care. BSN preferred; competitive benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited program and RN licensure in the state.
• BSN preferred; ADN/ASN acceptable with relevant experience.
• BLS required; ACLS may be required depending on site contract.
• COHN/COHN-S, Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred at some sites.
• Minimum three years as an RN in ER, occupational health, or ambulatory care.

Responsibilities

• Assess care needs, perform nursing evaluations, and provide treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team for further care.
• Perform and document medical tests and screenings per contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision).
• Administer medications and emergency care within scope.
• Maintain equipment, ensure clean, safe environment, and infection control.
• Keep patient health records up to date and accurate.
• Educate patients on health promotion and engage in follow-up care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

As a Full-Time Registered Nurse, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Chandler, AZ. The scheduled hours are Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.

What You’ll Do

• Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice


• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed


• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)


• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice


• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures


• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records


• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care


• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred


• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required


• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services


• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites


• At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care clinic
