Ascension Health in Central Indiana offers a Nurse Residency program starting January 2027 with day and night scheduling. Multiple units available, with full-time or part-time options through Ascension St. Vincent.

Participants engage in mentored learning, simulations, and seminars to transition into licensed professional nurses while balancing department commitments and evolving clinical skills.

• BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire.
• RN license from Indiana Board of Nursing before hire date.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.
