Job summary

Ascension is seeking a nurse for a residency cohort in Central Indiana (Ascension St. Vincent). This role offers day or night shifts, with full-time or part-time options across multiple units. The program focuses on mentorship, simulations, and structured learning to transition students into licensed professionals.

You will complete required trainings, attend residency seminars, and begin clinical scheduling with support from experienced staff. A pathway to full professional practice is provided.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required within 1 month of hire.
• RN licensure in Indiana required prior to hire date.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensure.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.
