Ascension Health is offering a residency-style nursing role at Ascension St. Vincent in Central Indiana. The program supports new graduates through structured learning, simulations, and labs to become high-functioning professionals.

You’ll join a cohort with flexible scheduling (days or nights) and a mix of full-time or part-time options, pursuing licensure requirements and diploma completion within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire or transfer date.
• Registered Nurse credential from Indiana Board of Nursing within 120 days of hire or transfer date.
• Enrolled in or completed nursing program.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with mentors and educators during the first year to evolve from student mindset to a high-functioning professional nurse.
• Completes structured learning requirements including simulations and labs to transition to a professional role.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained within 4 Months (120 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Enrolled in or completion of Nursing program required.

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required within 6 months hire.
