Rehabilitation Hospital of Oak Creek is seeking a Registered Nurse for a PRN role on our new 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit. Shifts are 12 hours and require commitment to 2 shifts every 6 weeks as a minimum.

Wisconsin RN license (or multi-state compact) and BLS within 30 days of hire are required. You will perform patient assessments, initiate nursing interventions, educate patients and families, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality rehab care.

Rehabilitation Hospital of Oak Creek is a brand-new 40 bed inpatient rehabilitation facility.We offer high-quality, compassionate care for a wide variety of patients in need. How you'll contribute

A Registered Nurse who excels in this role:

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides patient and family teaching throughout the rehabilitation stay and prior to discharge.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Works cooperatively and actively participates with other members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Participates in Continuous Quality and Performance Improvement (CQPI).
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments.

What we are looking for:

• Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
• Required Skills: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Experience: One year previous experience preferred
• Licenses: Active Wisconsinor compact state RN license required. If relocating, licensure must be updated to new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.
• Education: Associate's Degree required.
