Job summary

Premise Health Inc. is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to provide care to client employees at our Health Center in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

This position covers PTO coverage with occasional Saturday availability and clinic hours Monday–Friday 7:00a–5:00p, Saturday 8:00a–5:00p. You will perform nursing evaluations, administer medications, conduct tests (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision), maintain equipment and infection control, and educate patients on health promotion.

Qualifications

• Certificate from accredited nursing school or AS degree; BSN preferred
• Current RN license in state of practice
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required; ACLS may be required by contract
• COHN/COHN-S, EN or Case Management certification preferred
• At least three years RN experience in ER or occupational health settings

Responsibilities

• Assess patient care needs and perform nursing evaluations
• Collaborate with physicians for further evaluation and care
• Perform and document tests and treatments (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
• Administer medications and emergency care
• Maintain equipment, infection control, and a clean environment
• Maintain patient health records up-to-date
• Educate patients on health promotion and follow-up care
• Perform other duties as assigned

As a PRN Registered Nurse, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Spartanburg, SC.

Schedule

• PRN as needed to cover PTO
• Must have Saturday avaibility 1-2 times per month
• Clinic Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00a -5:00p, Saturday 8:00a - 5:00p

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Occupational Health, Emergency Room (ER), or Urgent Care settings.

What You’ll Do

• Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
• At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care clinic
