Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Centralized Staffing PRN Pool serving our Health Centers in the Orlando, FL area. This onsite, in-person role offers PRN hours as needed, Monday-Friday, day shift, with no nights or weekends.

You’ll assess patient care needs, perform tests, administer medications, maintain records, educate patients, and collaborate with clinicians. Requirements include an active RN license in Florida, an ASN/BSN, BLS, and at least three years in

Qualifications

• RN license in state of practice required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS may be required depending on contract scope.
• Certificate from accredited nursing school or AS degree required.
• Minimum three years of ER/occupational health/ambulatory care experience.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient care needs and conducts nursing evaluations.
• Collaborates with physicians for further medical evaluation and care.
• Performs tests, screenings, and treatments per site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision).
• Administers medications and emergency care within scope of practice.
• Maintains equipment, infection control, and a safe environment.
• Maintains accurate patient health records and documentation.
• Educates patients on health promotion and follow-up care.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Registered Nurse (RN), with our Centralized Staffing PRN Pool, you'll provide care to client employees within several of our Health Centers located in the Orlando, FL area. The scheduled hours are PRN as needed, Monday-Friday, day shift. No nights or weekends!

• Past Primary Care, Urgent Care or ER experience

What You’ll Do

• Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
• At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care clinic
