Job summary

Premise Health Inc. seeks a PRN Registered Nurse to provide on-site care at our Malvern Health Center. Coverage is to support PTO and sick days with a consistent Monday–Friday daytime schedule.

You will assess patients, perform nursing evaluations, administer medications, and educate patients while maintaining records and infection control standards. This role requires an active RN license and BLS, with ACLS as needed by site.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in state of practice.
• Nursing degree from accredited program; BSN preferred.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS may be required depending on site.
• Experience in occupational health nursing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient care needs and perform nursing evaluations.
• Collaborate with physicians for further care as needed.
• Perform and document tests: EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision.
• Administer medications and provide emergency care.
• Maintain equipment, follow infection control procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient health records.
• Educate patients on health promotion and follow-up care.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

As a PRN Registered Nurse, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Malvern, PA.

Schedule:

• PRN as needed to cover PTO and sick days
• Health Center Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00a - 4:00p

What You’ll Do

• Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice.
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed.
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision).
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice.
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures.
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred.
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required.
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services.
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites.
