Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to provide care to client employees at our Health Center in Malvern, PA. Works on an as-needed basis to cover PTO and sick days, with Health Center hours Monday to Friday 7:00a–4:00p.

The role involves nursing evaluations, procedures per site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision), medication administration, and health education. A PA RN license and BLS are required; ACLS may be required depending on contract scope.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Pennsylvania required.
• Certification with hands-on training in BLS (and ACLS may be required).
• Experience in occupational health or clinical care settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient care needs and conduct nursing evaluations.
• Collaborate with physicians for further medical evaluation and care.
• Perform and document tests and treatments within scope (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision).
• Administer medications and provide emergency care as allowed by law.
• Maintain equipment, infection control, and clean, safe environment.
• Maintain patient health records with accuracy and timeliness.
• Educate patients on health promotion and follow-up care.

As a PRN Registered Nurse, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Malvern, PA.

Schedule:

• PRN as needed to cover PTO and sick days

What You’ll Do

• Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice.
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed.
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision).
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice.
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures.
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred.
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required.
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services.
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites.
