Job summary

Premise Health seeks a PRN Registered Nurse to deliver care to client employees at our Health Center in Archbald, PA. This role includes nursing evaluations, treatments, and patient education within the scope of practice.

Responsibilities include collaborating with physicians, performing tests, administering medications, maintaining records, and promoting health and safety. The PRN schedule and benefits will be discussed with Talent Acquisition.

Qualifications

• Must have nursing certificate or AS; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in state of practice required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS may be required depending on site.
• COHN/COHN-S or emergency nursing certification preferred and may be required at some sites.
• Minimum 3 years RN experience in ER/occupational health/ambulatory care.

Responsibilities

As a PRN Registered Nurse, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Archbald, PA.

Schedule:

• PRN as needed to cover PTO
• Clinic Hours: Monday - Thursday 6:00a - 4:30p

What You’ll Do

• Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
• At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care clinic
