Job summary

Premise Health Inc. in Florence, KY is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality care in a convenient Health Center location. The clinic operates Monday–Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no nights or weekends.

You will perform nursing evaluations, coordinate with physicians, conduct tests, administer medications, and educate employees on health promotion. We offer a team-focused environment and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
• Hands-on BLS/CPR certification required; ACLS may be required based on contract scope
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred
• At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in emergency/occupational health/ambulatory care

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient care needs and conducts nursing evaluations
• Collaborates with physicians for further medical evaluation and care
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
• Administers medications and emergency care within scope
• Maintains medical equipment and infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records with up-to-date documentation
• Educates patients on health promotion and follow-up care
• Performs other duties as assigned

As a PRN Registered Nurse, you’ll provide high-quality care to client employees in our Health Center located in the heart of Florence, KY, conveniently situated in Northern Kentucky just south of Cincinnati.

The clinic is open Monday–Friday, from 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with no nights or weekends, while providing personalized, employee-focused care in a professional Health Center environment.

What You’ll Do

• Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
• At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care clinic
