Job summary

Ascension St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, OK seeks a Registered Nurse for the Pre Op department. This full-time, day shift role focuses on implementing and monitoring patient care plans, coordinating multidisciplinary care, and documenting patient status.

The RN provides discharge planning support and ensures orders from physicians and nursing staff are carried out. The ideal candidate will hold an RN license in Oklahoma, have a Diploma from an accredited nursing program, and maintain BLS

Qualifications

• Must have BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• RN credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Diploma or equivalent licensure required at time of hire.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
