Ascension St John Medical Center in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Med Surg department. This full-time daytime role supports patient care across the unit, delivering holistic nursing services in alignment with clinical standards and hospital protocols.

You will implement and monitor individualized care plans, communicate with physicians and specialists, and observe patient conditions to respond quickly to changes.

Competenze

• BLS Provider within 1 month of hire date
• Registered Nurse credentialed by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program or professional licensure at hire

• Lead Patient Care: Deliver holistic, high-quality nursing care that aligns with the highest clinical standards and organizational protocols.


• Drive Care Planning: Initiate, implement, and continuously monitor personalized patient care plans, ensuring they are effective and adapt to changing needs.


• Coordinate the Team: Serve as the central communication link for all disciplinesâfrom physicians to specialistsâto ensure a unified and seamless care journey for every patient.


• Practice Vigilant Monitoring: Accurately observe, record, and promptly communicate changes in patient conditions, acting quickly and decisively on clinical insights.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.


• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing required.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.
