Job summary

Ascension is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join the Cath Lab team at Ascension St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. This full-time role is a day-shift position with occasional call, nights, weekends or holidays as needed to ensure patient care continuity.

You will implement care plans, coordinate multidisciplinary care, and ensure orders are executed while assisting with discharge planning. A nursing diploma and Oklahoma RN licensure are required.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 month of hire.
• RN credentialed by Oklahoma Board of Nursing prior to hire.
• ACLS or Advanced Life Support preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor patient care plans and communicate patient conditions.
• Serve as primary coordinator of disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate discharge planning needs with healthcare team.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted preferred.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
