Job summary

Ascension's Saint Joseph's Hospital in Milwaukee, WI is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Postpartum department. You will provide direct patient care during night shifts, carry out physician and nursing orders, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective discharge planning.

The ideal candidate holds a Wisconsin RN license, BLS certification, and a Diploma in Nursing.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider required within 1 month of hire.
• Registered Nurse credentialed in Wisconsin or multi-state license.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing.

Responsibilities

• Clinical execution: implement patient care plans and orders.
• Patient monitoring: observe and document patient condition.
• Interdisciplinary coordination to ensure integrated care across disciplines.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Clinical Execution: Implement patient care plans and carry out physician and nursing orders.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.
