Job summary

Ascension seeks an RN educator to plan, implement, and evaluate educational activities for an assigned service within the Surgery department in Milwaukee. You will collaborate with nurse managers to assess learning needs, develop curricula, and measure outcomes while keeping comprehensive records.

This full-time, day-shift role offers tuition reimbursement and growth opportunities. Required nursing licensure in Wisconsin, with preferred childbirth education and Advanced Life Support.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Educator specializing in Childbirth preferred.
• Advanced Life Support preferred (AHA or ARC).
• BLS Provider preferred (AHA or ARC).

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State.
• Educator specializing in Childbirth preferred.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
