Job summary

Ascension's Studer Family Children's Hospital at Ascension Sacred Heart in Pensacola, FL, is seeking a Pediatric Acute Care RN for the night shift. You will implement and monitor patient care plans, coordinate disciplines, and ensure orders are carried out.

This role requires a Florida RN license and BLS, with pediatric experience preferred. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate discharge planning and deliver compassionate, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Requires Florida RN license prior to hire.
• BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program.
• Pediatric RN experience preferred.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.


• Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.


• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.


• Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  
  
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida. Credentialed from State Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition \"Compact State\" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
