Job summary

Incredible Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for the PCU/Stepdown unit in the Memphis, TN area. This role requires a nursing degree and an active RN license, with a preference for 1 year in stepdown, neurology, cardiac, or similar medium-high acuity settings.

You will monitor patients closely, manage IV drips and medications, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and educate patients and families on condition management and device use. Proficient EMR skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• 1 year experience in stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or similar medium-high acuity setting preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required.
• Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation.
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for medium to high acuity patients, monitoring vital signs and IV drips.
• Administer medications and manage complex treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers and other staff to ensure optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and families on managing acute or chronic conditions and equipment use (BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen).
• Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing

• Educate patients and their families on the management of their acute or chronic conditions, including the proper use of equipment like BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen and vital sign or blood sugar monitors
• Maintain timely and accurate patient records, adhering to hospital and departmental policies and regulations
