Incredible Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for the PCU/Stepdown in Grand Blanc, Michigan. The role requires strong nursing skills and experience in high-acuity settings, with collaboration across care teams.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in nursing (ADN or higher).
• Active RN license (unencumbered).
• 1 year of stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or medium-high acuity experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation.
• Proficient with electronic medical record systems.

Responsabilités

• Provide specialized care for medium to high acuity patients, monitor vital signs and IV drips.
• Administer medications and implement complex treatment plans per medical orders.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers, and other care team members.
• Educate patients and families on disease management and equipment use (BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen).
• Maintain accurate patient records in line with policies.

Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Bariatric, BiPap monitoring, COVID, CVA, Cardiac Drip Management, DKA patients, High acuity patients, Post cardiac intervention, or Sheath pulls.

Shift(s) available: day shift and night shift. Job types available: full time, part time, and per diem.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing

• 1 year experience in stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or another medium to high acuity setting preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
• Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac rhythm interpretation and other advanced nursing care practices
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems

• Provide specialized care for patients with medium to high acuity needs, closely monitoring vital signs, IV drips and other key indicators
• Administer medications and implement complex treatment plans, ensuring that medical orders are carried out accurately and promptly
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
• Educate patients and their families on the management of their acute or chronic conditions, including the proper use of equipment like BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen and vital sign or blood sugar monitors
• Maintain timely and accurate patient records, adhering to hospital and departmental policies and regulations

Salary: $72,470 to $111,200 /year
