Incredible Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for the PCU/Stepdown unit in the Philadelphia area. The role focuses on medium to high acuity patients, with emphasis on hemodynamic monitoring and complex cardiac care.

The ideal candidate will hold an ADN or higher, possess an active RN license, and have BLS/ACLS certification. Experience in stepdown, neurology, or cardiac units is preferred, with EMR proficiency and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• ASDN/ADN or higher nursing degree.
• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• 1 year experience in stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or medium-high acuity settings preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Strong hemodynamic monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation skills.
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for medium to high acuity patients with vigilant monitoring.
• Administer medications and implement complex treatment plans per orders.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers, and others to ensure optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and families on management of acute or chronic conditions and equipment use (BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen).
• Maintain timely, accurate patient records in line with policies.

Qualifications:

• Educate patients and their families on the management of their acute or chronic conditions, including the proper use of equipment like BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen and vital sign or blood sugar monitors
• Maintain timely and accurate patient records, adhering to hospital and departmental policies and regulations
