Job summary

Incredible Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the PCU/Stepdown unit in Bradenton, FL. Shifts available include day and night, with full-time and part-time opportunities. Candidates should have an ADN or higher nursing degree and an active RN license, plus BLS/ACLS certifications.

The role focuses on caring for medium to high acuity patients, administering medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Tuition assistance is offered.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree required.
• Active RN license in good standing.
• 1 year experience in stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or similar medium to high acuity setting preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for medium to high acuity patients, monitoring vital signs and IV drips.
• Administer medications and implement complex treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and families on management of acute or chronic conditions and proper use of BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen equipment.
• Maintain timely and accurate patient records following hospital and departmental policies.

Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Bariatric, BiPap monitoring, COVID, CVA, Cardiac Drip Management, DKA patients, High acuity patients, Post cardiac intervention, or Sheath pulls.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1 year experience in stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or another medium to high acuity setting preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
• Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac rhythm interpretation and other advanced nursing care practices
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems

• Educate patients and their families on the management of their acute or chronic conditions, including the proper use of equipment like BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen and vital sign or blood sugar monitors
• Maintain timely and accurate patient records, adhering to hospital and departmental policies and regulations
