Job summary

Incredible Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the PCU/Stepdown in Grand Blanc, MI. Shifts available include day and night with full-time, part-time and per diem options.

Ideal candidates hold ADN or higher, an active RN license, and 1 year in stepdown or other medium to high acuity areas, with BLS/ACLS and EMR proficiency.

Responsibilities include monitoring vitals and IV drips, administering medications, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and educating patients and families.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree.
• Active RN license.
• 1 year experience in stepdown/medium to high acuity settings.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation.
• Proficient with electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Bariatric, BiPap monitoring, COVID, CVA, Cardiac Drip Management, DKA patients, High acuity patients, Post cardiac intervention, or Sheath pulls.

Shift(s) available: day shift and night shift. Job types available: full time, part time, and per diem.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1 year experience in stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or another medium to high acuity setting preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
• Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac rhythm interpretation and other advanced nursing care practices
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for patients with medium to high acuity needs, closely monitoring vital signs, IV drips and other key indicators
• Administer medications and implement complex treatment plans, ensuring that medical orders are carried out accurately and promptly
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
• Educate patients and their families on the management of their acute or chronic conditions, including the proper use of equipment like BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen and vital sign or blood sugar monitors
• Maintain timely and accurate patient records, adhering to hospital and departmental policies and regulations
