Incredible Health is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse for a PCU/Stepdown unit in Rahway, NJ. The role supports medium to high acuity patients, including post-cardiac intervention care, with a focus on safety, timely medication administration, and teamwork with physicians, therapists, and case managers.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in nursing
• Active, unencumbered RN license
• 1 year or more in stepdown/medium-to-high acuity settings preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Strong hemodynamic monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
• Proficient with electronic medical record systems

Responsabilités

• Provide specialized care for medium to high acuity patients with close monitoring of vitals and IV drips
• Administer medications and implement complex treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and care team
• Educate patients and families on managing acute or chronic conditions and equipment
• Maintain accurate patient records in line with hospital policies and regulations

Hospitals on Incredible Health are actively hiring and accepting applications in the Rahway, NJ area for the following position: Registered Nurse - PCU / Stepdown. Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Bariatric, BiPap monitoring, COVID, CVA, Cardiac Drip Management, DKA patients, High acuity patients, Post cardiac intervention, or Sheath pulls.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1 year experience in stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or another medium to high acuity setting preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
• Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac rhythm interpretation and other advanced nursing care practices
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for patients with medium to high acuity needs, closely monitoring vital signs, IV drips and other key indicators
• Administer medications and implement complex treatment plans, ensuring that medical orders are carried out accurately and promptlyCollaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
• Educate patients and their families on the management of their acute or chronic conditions, including the proper use of equipment like BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen and vital sign or blood sugar monitors
• Maintain timely and accurate patient records, adhering to hospital and departmental policies and regulations

Salary: $70,920 to $117,990 /year
