BayCare Health System in Bartow is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at Bartow Regional Medical Center. This part-time night shift role focuses on delivering high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population using the nursing process and evidence-based standards.

As part of an experienced team, you will collaborate with physicians and other care providers, prioritize plans of care, and maintain vigilance for patient safety and potential complications

Competenze

• Active Florida RN license (or eligible) in good standing.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 6 months RN acute care experience.
• Associates Degree in Nursing.

Mansioni

• Collaborates with inter-disciplinary providers to develop and support the plan of care.
• Organizes and updates the care plan in Medical/Surgical/Telemetry units with patient/family involvement.
• Identifies patients at risk for injury and prepares safe room environment.

The Registered Nurse works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. The Registered Nurse is also responsible for professional accountability and development.

• The registered nurse collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care
• Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others in a Medical/Surgical/Telemetry unit.
• Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment.
