Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a RN - Charge Nurse for the PCU unit at Bartow Regional Medical Center. The Charge Nurse will supervise nursing staff, act as preceptor, and provide clinical leadership in a patient-centered environment.

Requirements include RN license, BLS, 2 years RN acute care experience, and a Bachelor's in Nursing. ICU experience and leadership preferred; full-time position with shift 6:45PM–7:15AM and Weekends on a rotating basis.

• Valid RN license and BLS certification.
• 2 years RN acute care experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• ICU experience.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nurse leadership as Charge Nurse and preceptor.
• Coordinate and manage patient care in the PCU unit.

• The RN - Charge Nurse is proficient in the care of a patient population utilizing effective managerial skills. Acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team
• Acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team. Is responsible for developing self and team members and sharing organizational information
• The Charge Nurse performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse
