Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the PCU team at Winter Haven Hospital. The RN applies nursing processes and collaborates with the care team to implement plans of care.

The role requires an active RN license and BLS, with at least 6 months of acute care experience and an ADN. This is a full-time night shift position in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license required.
• BLS certification required.
• At least 6 months RN acute care experience.
• Associates Degree in Nursing required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with interdisciplinary care providers to develop and assist in plan of care.
• Organizes and updates the plan of care in collaboration with patient and family in a medical/surgical unit.
• Identify patients at risk and prepare room environment accordingly.

Position Description: RN

The Registered Nurse works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. The Registered Nurse is also responsible for professional accountability and development.

• The registered nurse collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care
• Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others in a medical/surgical unit
• Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment.
