BayCare System Office West in Clearwater is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week full-time PCU assignment on the night shift. The RN will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, develop and update plans of care, and serve as preceptor or charge nurse as needed.

Requirements include RN license, BLS and ACLS, ASN, 18 months of RN PCU experience (2 years preferred), and Cerner EMR experience. Independent transportation and travel nurse experience are preferred.

BayCare Health Systems staffing resource office is currently seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses to join our outstanding and compassionate float team.

• System Pool- 13-week full-time assignment for assigned department - unit provided schedule - block scheduling not available. Availability of assignments is based on needs of health system.
• The registered nurse collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care.
• Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others in the departments
• Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment.
• The Registered Nurse performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

Region 1 includes St Anthony's, Morton Plant, Mease Dunedin, Mease Countryside and Morton Plant Northbay hospitals.

Region 2 includes St Joseph's, St Joseph's North, St Joseph's South and BayCare Wesley Chapel hospitals

Region 3 includes South Florida Baptist, Bartow Medical Center and Winter Haven Hospitals.

The Registered Nurse works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS(AHA) are required.
• Associate degree in nursing (ASN)
• 18 months RN experience in an acute PCU setting is required.
• 2 years RN experience in an acute PCU setting is strongly preferred.
• Prior experience with Cerner EMR strongly preferred.
• Must have independent transportation for assignments/shifts.
• Travel Nurse experience preferred.
