Job summary

BayCare Health System in Winter Haven invites a dedicated RN to join our PCU team at Winter Haven Hospital. The unit emphasizes patient-centered care and collaborative planning with the care team to support safe, effective outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license, an associate degree in nursing, BLS certification, and at least 6 months of acute care experience in a medical/surgical setting. Shift-based nights available.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license required.
• BLS certification required.
• At least 6 months of RN acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with interdisciplinary care providers to develop and assist in plan of care.
• Organizes, prioritizes and updates plan of care with patient/family in a medical/surgical unit.
• Identifies patients at risk and prepares room environment to ensure safety.

Position Description: RN

• The registered nurse collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care
• Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others in a medical/surgical unit
• Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment.
