Mary Washington Healthcare seeks a Level II Competent Registered Nurse to provide total, patient-centered care across units, coordinating with the care team using evidence-based practice. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while maintaining high professional standards in a dynamic hospital setting.

Ideal candidates hold Virginia RN licensure (or compact state), with 2+ years acute care experience; BSN preferred and BLS/NIHSS training required within defined timelines.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Virginia or compact state required
• BSN preferred; ADN acceptable with commitment to obtain BSN within five years
• AHA BLS CPR required at hire
• NIHSS (Bluecloud) required within 90 days
• 2 years of recent RN acute care experience required

Responsabilités

• Direct and coordinate nursing care with licensed/unlicensed staff using nursing process and teamwork
• Coordinate patient/family teaching and discharge planning
• Communicate plans of care to health team members
• Assist leadership to define standards of excellence in patient care and participate in service improvements
• Participate in quality improvement activities and staff orientation
