Job summary

Mary Washington Healthcare is seeking a Level II Competent Registered Nurse to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care across assigned units. You will lead nursing care, coordinate with the care team, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements include RN licensure in Virginia or a reciprocal state, 2 years acute care RN experience, and certifications such as BLS and NIHSS as required by the unit.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• 2 years of recent RN acute care experience required.
• CRITICAL thinking and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate nursing care using the nursing process and interdisciplinary teamwork.
• Discharge planning and patient/family teaching.
• Collaborate with leadership and participate in improving patient care services.
• Provide input on unit needs and participate in performance improvement.
