Job summary

Mary Washington Healthcare is seeking a Level II Competent Registered Nurse to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team. You will apply nursing processes and evidence-informed practice to a designated patient group, ensuring safe and efficient care delivery.

The role requires at least two years of RN experience and an active Virginia RN license or reciprocity. BLS is required at hire, with ACLS within 60 days and NIHSS within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum of two years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Valid RN License from Virginia or reciprocal compact state required.
• BSN is preferred.
• AHA BLS Provider CPR required at hire.
• ACLS Provider required within 60 days of hire.
• NIHSS (Bluecloud) required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate nursing care with oversight of licensed and unlicensed staff.
• Coordinate patient/family involvement and discharge planning.
• Communicate the plan of care to the health team members.
• Participate in and lead quality improvement activities.
• Participate in orientation of new staff and committees.
