University of Southern California’s USC Verdugo Hills Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse to support the Chief Nursing Officer in leading patient care, ensuring safety, recovery and comfort for patients. You will apply the nursing process, educate patients, and advocate for quality outcomes in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role requires a California RN license, BLS/ACLS (PALS where applicable), and 1 year of acute care experience; BSN preferred.

Qualificações

• Graduation from a Registered Nurse program.
• BSN preferred; if not hired, intended to obtain within 5 years.
• 1 year of acute care experience preferred.
• Experience with ortho and stroke patient populations preferred.
• Required California Registered Nurse License with active certifications.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and deliver patient care for the shift; contribute to unit planning.
• Precept and validate competency for new hires and procedures; teach nursing students.
• Delegate to RNs, LVNs, CNAs; coordinate assigned team; communicate expectations.
• Identify improvement opportunities and report through chain of command.
• Provide a healing environment and educate patients about conditions and self-care.
