The University of Southern California (USC) is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the patient care team at USC Verdugo Hills Hospital. In collaboration with the Chief Nursing Officer, you will lead the unit, implement nursing process, educate patients and families, and ensure safe, compassionate care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Candidates should have a RN license in California, BSN preferred, and at least 1 year of acute care experience; Cardiac Cath Lab or IR/EP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Registered Nurse program; BSN preferred.
• 1 year acute care experience; ortho/stroke experience preferred.
• California RN license; BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required or in process.

Responsabilités

• Lead and support patient care team under the Chief Nursing Officer.
• Ensure compliance with CMS Conditions of Participation, Title 22, CDPH regulations and standards.
• Assist department leadership with quality improvement and unit planning.
• Precept and orient new hires and nursing students.
